History

We are the worldwide brotherhood of people who love to roll. We go all the way back to the beginning of the sport, and we will never lose the philosophy that we are a brotherhood with a sense of unity...regardless of where you are from, age, sex, race, etc...Scribe Industries was created by Shannon Grendahl and Steve Thomas in 1992. They engineered and created many of the original products that made our sport possible. Unfortunately they had a dishonest investor who practiced bad business ethics that eventually led to the collapse of the company in 1997. In 2006 Dan Fabiano had the concept of reigniting a "dinosaur" company from our industry and take it to a new level in a new era. Randomly skating at 3rd Lair skatepark in Minneapolis, Dan ran into Shannon and they crossed paths about the idea of re-establishing Scribe Industries. In 2009, Dan met with close friend, Shane Birtzer and collaborated to revive Scribe Industries with the counseling help of Shannon Grendahl. Scribe had an amazing following and loyalty to the name and ideas behind the business. Dan and Shane strive to relive the old Scribe Industries in a new era and new light.Scribe is about the roots, tradition, loyalty and "unity". Many look back at their roots and see Scribe. That's why Scribe is back. Stress cracks and verticle urethane cracks in your wheel can be normal depending on the terrain you skate. This does not constitute for a return.
